originally the clay piece was going to be a gift for my mother... but, I decided it wanted to be placed in a painting instead! so i responded in kind. alas, forever whimsical...... truly......
As I worked on this piece, it was almost like I was forgetting to
breathe.... literally, I would have to catch my breath with deep sighs.
My hand could not work as quickly as my mind was ordering it. This creation
speaks to me of a need for each human (men and women) to have a place
to dream..where they are safe, and there are no walls, floor or ceilings
to crop the vision.
